Ingredients
- 2 cups dosa batter, fermented
- 3 tbsp mysore chutney (roasted red chilli, garlic, coconut, tamarind)
- 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed (for filling)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- Oil/ghee, salt
Method
- Make the potato filling: temper mustard seeds and curry leaves, saute onion, add turmeric and mashed potato with salt.
- Grind the mysore chutney from roasted dried red chillies, garlic, coconut and tamarind.
- Heat a tawa, pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread thin.
- Smear a layer of mysore chutney over the dosa, drizzle oil or ghee and cook until crisp.
- Place a portion of potato filling on one half, fold over, and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
