Ingredients
- 1 cup thalipeeth bhajani (multigrain flour) or a mix of jowar, bajra, rice and chana flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- Coriander, chopped, salt, water, oil
Method
- Mix the multigrain flour with onion, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and salt.
- Add water gradually to form a soft dough.
- Pat a portion directly into a thin round on a greased sheet of plastic (or with wet fingers on a hot tawa), poking a few holes in the centre for even cooking.
- Transfer to a hot tawa, drizzle oil around the edges and holes, and cook covered until the base is golden.
- Flip and cook the other side; serve hot with butter or yogurt.
