Ingredients
- 500g fish fillets, cubed
- 1 cup thick yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1.5 tbsp tikka/tandoori masala
- 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- Lemon juice, oil, salt
Method
- Whisk yogurt with ginger-garlic paste, tikka masala, chilli powder, lemon juice, oil and salt into a marinade.
- Gently coat the fish cubes in the marinade, being careful not to break them, and marinate for 20-30 minutes (fish needs less time than meat).
- Thread onto skewers or arrange on a greased tray.
- Grill or pan-sear on medium-high heat, turning carefully, until lightly charred on the outside and just cooked through — fish cooks fast, so watch closely to avoid drying it out.
- Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
