Ingredients
- Kulcha dough: 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp sugar, 2 tbsp oil, salt, warm water
- 1.5 tbsp garlic, minced
- Coriander, chopped
- Butter for brushing
Method
- Prepare the kulcha dough and let it rest for 2 hours until slightly risen.
- Flatten a dough ball into a round or oval disc and press the minced garlic and chopped coriander firmly onto the surface so they stick well.
- Cook on a hot tawa until bubbles form, flip and cook until golden-brown, slightly charred spots appear on the underside (or finish under a broiler for extra char).
- Brush generously with melted butter immediately after cooking, while the garlic is still fragrant.
- Serve hot, stacked in a basket.
